Really speaking , radio mechanic is the backbone of maharashtra state police wireless. There are various posts of importance in m.s. pol. wireless but one will not refuse that, radio mechanic is the only post who have to solve, think, study about the technical problems in wireless dept.The G R of ashwasit padonnati yojana is not yet applied to them inspite of the existence of G R.Director of police wireless should think seriously about the bad circumstances being faced by the radio mechanic in the whole state specially who have completed their 45 yrs of age.Electricians who having the basic educational qual. eqv to class 7th are given promotions in the state but the radio mechs who are B.Sc, B.e.,DeRE, are not given any kind of incentives in the state.The electricians who in the field work asks & takes sugestions for the technical support from radio mechs, became the superior one & the radio mechs are in the same status without having any type of upgradation .This is a wonderfull position of administration where every officer forwards their papers to their inferiors & lastly it comes to the hand of radio mechanic to actually have to execute it.Pwsie has no work in police wireless. Then why that post is needed?.Would DPW come with programme of control over the promotions of radio mechanic to pwsie & recruit plenty of radio mechanics so as to have no more burden on the existing lacking no. of radio mechs? Would DPW bring a balanced method of exam for promotions of RMs? Would DPW bring an online theory exam system for promotions for RMs? Is DPW worrying about the problems of radio mechs? When the basic educational qualification of Rm will be the higher one such as B.Sc(pcm)?When the pay scales of Rms, pwsie, pwie, dyspw, spw will improve? Is DPW thinking of the separate panel for pay in view of 6th pay commission for the technical staff in police wireless? Is DPW serious to favour higher pay scale to RMs than that of the ASIs of executive cadre? Is DPW to favour the better pay scales of RMs before 4th pay commission in comparision with that of ASIs in executive cadre & to implement it? Thanks to the RMs who are doing their better works inspite of the bad circumstances they face .These are the blessings of RMs on the police wireless maharashtra.But the problem is "Who will think of it"?
